Who We Are

As an artist, I love looking at art , exploring new places and sharing these experiences with friends. City Adventures was founded with these ideas in mind and has been offering travel to the world of art and gardens for more than ten years.
We are a New York City based company and focus on presenting an “insider” view of the current art scene. Itineraries often include visits to artists studios, viewing of important new gallery shows and specially arranged tours of museum exhibits. We are artists who enjoy sharing our expertise and enthusiasm.We also present escorted day trips to the gardens, museums and historic homes of the beautiful Hudson Valley. Garden Trips

Botanical organizations love our garden trips to and Holland, Provence and beyond. We specialize in visits to private gardens and homes where the owners share their gardening experience and knowledge and arrange invitations to private dinners and teas. In Holland, we work with the Dutch Garden Society to find the most spectacular and remarkable collections of flowering bulbs and unique garden design. In the winter months, we focus on the tropical landscape of Costa Rica where the rain forest, wild orchids and exotic birds make this a memorable garden getaway.

Art Trips

City Adventures offers art and photography workshops such as: Painting in Provence, Dutch Landscape Painting and Drawing in Holland and Photography in Costa Rica. Galleries and museums are included in the itinerary. Past trips have included groups from:
